C++/OO Senior Software Developer - Omaha, NE - $70-85k
CSG Systems is currently looking to hire a C++/OO Senior Software Development Engineer for our Omaha, Nebraska office. CSG Systems is a dynamic and growing company of experienced professionals who provide software solutions for communications and entertainment service providers. CSG’s software applications include customer management, order management, service request/trouble management, billing, collections , and e-commerce applications, that work together in a variety of configurations.
Software Engineers convert requirements into high-visibility applications by applying experience in application design and development. In addition, engineers work in an agile-based team environment to design and development all layers of the solution including data, services, and user interfaces.
Expectations and Responsibilities:
• Designs, analyzes, writes code, supports and debugs CSG's customer facing applications.
• Point of contact for Microsoft technical expertise for team members.
• Develop highly scalable, mission critical production applications.
• Resolve the most complex technical issues faced within the team.
• Work seamlessly within a cross functional Agile team developing new components in a highly iterative and collaborative fashion.
• Perform under minimal supervision on significantly complex assignments.
• Bachelors Degree (Engineering, MIS, or Computer Science) or equivalent experience required.
Requirements:
• 4 to 7 years solid Windows C++ Object Oriented, MFC experience on an n-tier client application
• Experience interfacing winforms GUI client applications to Oracle or Mainframe repositories
• C#/.Net development on GUI client applications a big plus
• Experience as a technical leader and subject matter expert in past jobs a plus
