Hey, can someone tell me why I get this 'Edit' link? how should I remove it?
The "edit" link is for when (not if!) you make a mistake in one of your posts and need to go back to change it.

You can't remove it - just don't use it if you don't need to.
Hi people,

Here an update about the C++ study group. The IRC channel will be up and running on Sunday, I will post to everyone who sent me an e-mail at bluewave_1976 AT hotmail.com instructions on how to access the IRC channel. I'm also putting a blog online with the latest info.

What irc clients do you guys use?
I use: Konversation IRC Client

I came on last night quite late after re-installing linux but only one person was in, stayed in the channel for a while and will be back on there tonight after work.
I'll be visiting it tonight.. hope you all will be there.. theres only few people that visited the channel lately and its very unexciting..
I'll be on tonight aswell after 4pm (GMT). Lets get more members in the study group - for the last few nights I have been the only one on with the exception of the operator and a few others popping in and out.

Hello Bluewave,

I'm Akash and I'm 11 (I know that's sort of young to start programming is that OK?) but I would like to be a part of this group, because it will help all of us out. I use Linux, but I have a Windows computer which has VC++. I have 3 textbooks on programming: The C Programming Language, by Kernighan and Ritchie, Illustrating C, by Donald Alcock, and Problem Solving with C++, by Walter Savitch. I am still a beginner (still learning about cases and do loops) but I can keep up with you. My email is [email protected].

Thanx,
Akash
