Mr. Governor, that would be wonderful. We don't need to host a server, just somebody to permanently be connected to the channel (so nobody can steal op status), and maybe run a few scripts.
i'm interested in joining this group. i am 22 years old and want to learn c++ so that i can write a trading program. add me up if you have any words of wisdom. i will be starting to study the language in depth this year. [email protected]
Maybe it wasn't a good idea to start a separate studygroup aimed at beginners. There are already several forums available, like this one. Never thought the response would be that big. But now I can't stop anymore. I am trying to setup a irc channel and a forum to support the irc channel.
If you want to join the studygroup, just sent an email to bluewave_1976 AT hotmail.com. I will sent you an e-mail when the irc channel and support forum are up and running.
A teacher has stored a class set of grades into a data file names “grades.data” in a folder named “gradebook”. Your program should read in the grades from the data file and perform the following tasks.
Display the grades in a histogram using an ‘X’ to signify one test score.
Hey everyone, I am 16 and I have never created any programs and do not know how to use c++ but I would love to learn. I would like to join this group. I will send an email to bluewave.

Hi.
I am not new to C/C++, I just thought I would be able to lend a hand if you guys need it, I think IRC is probably the best way to communicate, if you need me let me know, E-mail for me is "deadsilverchris AT hotmail DOT com".
thats actually a pretty good idea. If you could organize something like that let me know. My email is [email protected], im very new to this but plan on going to school for simulation programing and would loke to get a head start.
I'm having problems with the irc channel. For some reason the server where I hosted the irc channel is down... Hope this will be solved soon. I will mail everyone who left his/her e-mail address at this forum or sent me an email soon with some info about the irc channel and support forum.

Anyone out there still? Hi there, i'm also new to C++, and i'm in quite a tight pickle, you see, i'm doing my second year of community college, and my computer sciecne teacher, is suppose to be teaching "Intro to C++" yet, it seems hes teaching at a higher level he has me and a few others lost. I have a project due tommorrow, and i'm still trying to look though guides now for it. for a Complier i'm using Virtal C++. I don't wanna give up on this. If someone can help, or if i learn anything i'll be willing to help others. My email is [email protected], and i have MSN so yeah.
